Ormond Beach police were investigating a traffic fatality on Saturday, Aug. 9.
Two vehicles crashed on East Granada Boulevard between Halifax Drive and Atlantic Avenue, causing a road closure of the city’s most traveled thoroughfare for several hours, according to a police department Facebook post.
Both drivers were transported to a hospital under trauma alerts, and one died as a result of injuries, the post states. The Ormond Beach police say they will release more details “as they become available and appropriate to share.”
The News-Journal has requested a copy of the crash report will update this story if more details become available.
