Okaloosa Schools, PBS station team up to host Amazing Kids Day in Fort Walton Beach

FORT WALTON BEACH — The Okaloosa County School District is partnering with WSRE PBS to host Amazing Kids Day, an autism-friendly event that aims to provide a fun, inclusive and supportive environment for children with autism and their families.

The free event will take place June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fort Walton Beach Public Library, 185 Miracle Strip Parkway SE.

Families can expect a variety of sensory-friendly activities tailored to children with autism, as well as access to educational resources and support services.
