The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly re-signed one of their key role players from the 2025 season prior to free agency starting.
According to Jordan Schultz, the Jaguars are re-signing tight end Quintin Morris to a one-year deal that will be worth up to $3 million.

This move comes as really no surprise, given Morris’ contributions last season.
As the 2025 season unfolded, Morris’ role on offense continued to expand. Through the second-half of the year, he was the Jaguars’ regular TE2 behind Brenton Strange, and often ahead of Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long in playing time.
His primary role on offense came as a blocker, and in addition to that, Morris was a core special teams contributor for the Jaguars. He played the fourth-most snaps on the team in 2025, according to PFF, contributing to five of the six different phases throughout the year.
Morris caught six passes for 55 yards with a touchdown. His six solo special teams tackles were the sixth-most on the team.
Now under contract for the Jaguars at tight end ahead of free agency are Strange, Morris, Mundt, Long, and Patrick Herbert.
