With cornerback a need for the Jacksonville Jaguars, ESPN’s Michael DiRocco mentioned free agent Kader Kohou as an option for them.
Kohou spent his first four NFL seasons in Miami. As DiRocco mentions, Kohou has a connection to Jaguars’ defensive coordinator Anthony Campanile, who was the Dolphins’ linebackers coach from 2020 to 2023.

“Kohou won a starting job in 2022 as an undrafted free agent and started 38 games from 2022-24 with the Dolphins before missing the 2025 season with a torn ACL,” DiRocco wrote.
DiRocco added that Kohou would be a “low-risk” option at cornerback for the Jaguars, able to compete for playing time opposite of Travis Hunter.
For a Jaguars team that is tight on salary cap space, Kohou could provide a cost-effective option for them.
In 2024, the last season Kohou played, he allowed a completion rate of 65% but only 8.0 yards per catch with two interceptions and three pass breakups, according to PFF.
Kohou has played both inside and out, but most of his snaps have come from the slot. What the Jaguars specifically need, however, is an outside cornerback. Jacksonville still has Jourdan Lewis and Jarrian Jones at the nickel.
