Guests at Palm Beach hotels will be treated to a season of new features and perks

New perks, programs and enhancements this season await visitors and locals at Palm Beach’s boutique hotels and oceanfront resort hotels.

Here are a few highlights:

The Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, 2800 S. Ocean Blvd., opened a “new Palm Pavilion” on Sept. 8, next to the resort’s tennis courts.

It includes mini golf, pool tables and table tennis, pickleball, bocce ball and other attractions, the resort’s officials said.

“We’re so excited for our guests who have been coming to us over and over to come back to this really beautifully renovated space,” marketing director Michelle Balint said. “There’s something for everyone.”

The Four Seasons also added new spa services over the summer, including extended “hydra-facial” treatments.

Updating services is one reason the spa has earned five stars by Forbes Travel Guide, Four Seasons officials noted.

At The Breakers, 1 S. County Road, the resort’s historic Mediterranean Courtyard and Beach Club restaurant are undergoing improvements.

In the Mediterranean Courtyard, for instance, which is adjacent to the lobby, key elements such as the historic fountains are being restored.

A glass conservatory and pergolas are part of the renovation.

At The Breakers’ spa, look for new treatments, such as Tata Harper’s body treatments.

The Breakers also has added padel courts to its tennis center.

Elsewhere on the island The Brazilian Court, 301 Australian Ave., is set to feature live Friday-night entertainment by D.J. Daniel Moon, Moon, who started his career in London before moving to New York. At The Brazilian Court, he typically starts his sets at 8 p.m. and continues to midnight.

“I love The Brazilian Court’s ambiance — it’s like nothing else,” Moon said earlier this month about the hotel, which debuted in 1926.

“The space where I am (in the lounge) is perfect,” he said. “People can relax and enjoy good drinks, enjoy dinner or take a seat at the bar or walk outside onto the beautiful courtyard.”

On hand this season at The Brazilian Court’s salon: celebrity hair colorist Rita Hazan.

Said to have styled the hair of such stars as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, Hazan is slated to be at the hotel’s salon on Nov. 11 and Dec. 15; other dates are being finalized, hotel officials said.

At The White Elephant, 180 Sunset Ave., many updates are set for this season. Look for a new lobby library featuring Palm Beach-inspired books for guests to browse.

A driving tour of Palm Beach, showcasing the island’s architecture, also is available in one of the White Elephant’s BMW guest cars.

For children, the hotel has expanded its offerings to include nighttime turndowns with milk, cookies and story time, and elephant-themed scavenger hunts by day, among other things.

At The Colony, 155 Hammon Ave., popular weekly games among the social set continue.

Bingo and Trivia take place, respectively, every Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Reservations are required for both events.

At Eau Palm Beach Resort, 100 S. Ocean Blvd. in Manalapan, a new getaway package deal is a good one for foodies.

It centers around the resort’s flagship restaurant: the Manalapan location of Nobu, which is part of the globally famed chain of Japanese-Peruvian cuisine spots by celebrity Chef Nobu Matsuhisa.

The Epicurean Encounter Package — current rates are about $1,269 per night, according to Eau officials — include dinner for two in Nobu Manalapan (alcoholic beverages not included); a Nobu-inspired welcome amenity; daily parking for one vehicle; and late checkout.
