For one night this month, Florida’s pesky python and docile dolphin will share space on the marquee at the Great Wolf Lodge Resort in Naples.
A program called “The Wild Truth of Florida Wildlife: Pythons and Dolphins” is being held at the Great Wolf Lodge on Jan. 28 from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. The event is being dubbed “Two iconic Florida animals. One unforgettable night.”
Amy Siewe, more famously known as the Python Huntress, is joining dolphin expert Bob McConville for what a press release is calling “a powerful and entertaining evening exploring both sides of Florida’s ecosystem — the invasive species threatening it, and the iconic animals we’re fighting to protect.”

Siewe has received international coverage for her python hunter and elimination skills, which she regularly share on her social media pages.
It’s not uncommon for Siewe to receive bites when she’s in the process of capturing the invasive snake which can reach a length of 20 feet. Python are not venomous. Siewe talked about what python bite feels like in this video she did with the Naples Daily News:
