The 3-1 Jacksonville Jaguars will host the 2-2 Kansas City Chiefs Monday night, Oct. 6, at EverBank Stadium before a national “Monday Night Football” audience on ESPN/ABC.
The primetime game in Jacksonville is the first in two years, and it comes as work is underway on the Jaguars’ “Stadium of the Future” and nearby Four Seasons Hotel and Residences, part of the Shipyards project, both from Jaguars owner Shad Khan.
For Khan, whose “rags-to-riches” story has captured the attention of Jaguars fans in Jacksonville and beyond, tonight’s game marks the latest milestone in the life of the mustachioed self-made billionaire auto parts magnate and the owner of one of just 32 NFL franchises.
