Florida gymnastics vs LSU final score as Gators deliver historic showing in upset

Florida gymnastics showed the collegiate world Sunday night that the game hasn’t passed it by as the Gators proved they are a legitimate national championship contender.

UF upset LSU Sunday night at the O’Connell Center 198.450-198.325 for its fourth consecutive home win over the Bayou Bengals.

This one might have been the most impressive of all, though.

The meet was just the 12th time in NCAA history that two teams in a dual meet exceeded a 198, and both teams did so by 0.325. LSU’s score tied its highest of the season, but it wasn’t enough.

Because the Gators delivered a literal all-timer.

Florida’s mark is the nation’s highest so far in 2026. It’s the third-highest score in program history.

After a 49.325 to start on vault, UF scored a 49.625 on bars, a 49.700 on beam and a 49.750 on floor. That’s the program’s second highest scores in beam and floor.

Selena Harris-Miranda won the all-around title with a 39.850 — tied for second-highest in the nation in 2026. All four scores were a 9.950 or higher — with her second ever 10 on the beam and the Gators first at home this season.

Here’s how the Gators defeated the Tigers on senior night:

Florida gymnastics vs. LSU live meet updates

Rotation 4: Florida gymnastics (Floor) 49.750; 198.450, LSU (Beam) 49.650; 198.325

Absolute heroics from Florida, which delivers its best floor performance in four years — and the second best in its program history — to stun the second-ranked Tigers in an electric meet at the O’Connell Center. Florida pitched a near perfect floor routine. 9.975s from eMjae Frazier and Skye Blakely helped set up the success, and Selena Harris-Miranda capped it off with a 9.950 in her final home event. Every score UF counted was a 9.925 or higher.

Rotation 3: Florida gymnastics (Beam) 49.700; 148.700, LSU (Floor) 49.600; 148.675

The Gators with their first 10 at home! Selena Harris-Miranda caps off her beam career at the O’Connell Center with a perfect mark as Florida scores its second-best beam score of the season behind last week at Texas Women’s. Harris-Miranda’s 10, plus 9.950s from eMjae Frazier and Kayla DiCello, gives Florida the tight lead over LSU heading into the final rotation. The Tigers rank third on the beam, and the Gators place seventh.

Rotation 2: Florida gymnastics (Bars) 49.625; 99.000; LSU (Vault) 49.700; 99.075

Florida scores its second highest bars score of the season just behind its 49.650 vs. Oklahoma on February 13. Skye Blakely JUST misses out on a 10 with a 9.975 on the event. Selena Harris-Miranda with a 9.950. LSU, though, is the second best vault team in the country for a reason. A season-best 49.700 for the Bayou Bengals on the event, capped off by Kailin Chio’s 9.975 — LSU’s second 9.975 anchoring. That gives them the tight lead as we’re halfway through the meet.

Rotation 1: Florida gymnastics (Vault) 49.375, LSU (Bars) 49.375

Florida with a great bounce back on vault after a 48.875 last week in Texas. It is tied for the Gators second best vault score of the season. Kayla DiCello and Selena Harris-Miranda each lead the Gators with a 9.950. LSU started slow with back-to-back falls on bars, but the Tigers showed why they are the nation’s second best team. They storm all the way back to tie the Gators thanks to a 9.975 anchor from Konnor McClain. Still, UF will take a tie in an event that it ranks 12th in the nation in, and LSU ranks second. Florida now moves to bars, where it places No. 1.
