FHSAA district volleyball brackets released. See Volusia-Flagler schedule

The Florida high school volleyball regular season is in the books, and the district tournament brackets were released on Friday, Oct. 10.

Seventeen programs from the Volusia-Flagler area will be competing for titles across seven districts. One local school is guaranteed to win a trophy since all five teams in the District 5-1A bracket are from the area.

Six brackets will be completed Thursday. The District 5-1A tournament will finish on Friday.

Here is the full schedule for the local districts.

District 2-7A

Location: Quarterfinals at higher seed, semifinals and final at Forest

Schedule: Tuesday — No. 4 West Port (16-9) vs. No. 5 Flagler Palm Coast (11-10), 6 p.m.; Wednesday — No. 1 DeLand (15-9) vs. winner of West Port-Flagler Palm Coast, 7 p.m.; No. 2 Forest (14-9) vs. No. 3 Spruce Creek (15-10), 5 p.m.; Thursday — championship, 7 p.m.

District 3-7A

Location: Quarterfinals at higher seed, semifinals and final at Seminole

Schedule: Monday — No. 4 University (12-8) vs. No. 5 Apopka (7-12), 6 p.m.; Tuesday — No. 1 Lake Brantley (17-8) vs. winner of University-Apopka, 5:30 p.m.; No. 2 Seminole (12-13) vs. No. 3 Lake Mary (11-11), 7 p.m.; Thursday — championship, 7 p.m.

District 3-6A

Location: Quarterfinals at higher seed, semifinals and final at Oviedo

Schedule: Monday — No. 4 East River (12-12) vs. No. 5 Lyman (11-14), 6 p.m.; No. 2 Lake Howell (19-6) vs. No. 7 Mainland (2-19), 6 p.m.; No. 3 Winter Springs (13-11) vs. No. 6 Matanzas (9-10), 6 p.m.; Tuesday — No. 1 Oviedo (18-6) vs. winner of East River-Lyman, 7:30 p.m.; winner of Lake Howell-Mainland vs. winner of Winter Springs-Matanzas, 6 p.m.; Thursday — championship, 6 p.m.

District 6-5A

Location: Quarterfinals, semifinals and final at higher seed

Schedule: Monday — No. 4 Seabreeze (14-10) vs. No. 5 Pine Ridge (5-18), 6 p.m.; No. 2 New Smyrna Beach (8-16) vs. No. 7 Jones (2-13), 6 p.m.; No. 3 Atlantic (13-11) vs. No. 6 Deltona (7-17), 6 p.m.; Tuesday — No. 1 Innovation (17-5) vs. winner of Seabreeze-Pine Ridge, 6 p.m.; winner of New Smyrna Beach-Jones vs. winner of Atlantic-Deltona, 6 p.m.; Thursday — championship, 6 p.m.

District 6-3A

Location: Quarterfinals at higher seed, semifinals and final at The Villages

Schedule: Monday — No. 4 Taylor (17-8) vs. No. 5 Angeline Academy of Innovation (5-12), 5 p.m.; No. 3 Umatilla (14-6) vs. No. 6 South Sumter (5-17), 7 p.m.; Tuesday — No. 1 Montverde (15-5) vs. winner of Taylor-Angeline Academy of Innovation; No. 2 The Villages (12-12) vs. winner of Umatilla-South Sumter; Thursday — championship, 7 p.m.

District 3-2A

Location: Quarterfinals, semifinals and final at higher seed

Schedule: Monday — No. 4 Father Lopez (7-14) vs. No. 5 Circle Christian (4-15), 7 p.m.; Tuesday — No. 1 Orangewood Christian (21-4) vs. winner of Father Lopez-Circle Christian, 7 p.m.; No. 2 Master’s Academy (13-9) vs. No. 3 Trinity Prep (4-14), 7 p.m.; Thursday — championship, 7 p.m.

District 5-1A

Location: Quarterfinals, semifinals and final at Warner Christian

Schedule: Tuesday — No. 4 Calvary Christian (0-9) vs. No. 5 Halifax (4-17), 6 p.m.; Thursday— No. 1 First Baptist Christian (13-10) vs. winner of Calvary Christian-Halifax, 7 pm.; No. 2 Warner Christian (10-6) vs. No. 3 Trinity Christian (9-10), 5 p.m.; Friday — championship, 6 p.m.
