The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert this afternoon, Dec. 4, for a 1-year-old girl who was last seen on Nov. 28 in DeLand.
Itzayana Castelano Gonzalez, a Hispanic girl with brown hair and brown eyes, was last seen around the 390 block of Circle Drive in DeLand. She might be with Doranalleli Gonzalez and Jose Castelano Campo.
“Due to an ongoing investigation, this case has been upgraded to a Missing Child Alert,” the FDLE said on its website.
The FDLE is advising people not to approach the individuals but instead to contact law enforcement immediately with any information.
Doranalleli Gonzalez, 24, is a Hispanic woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 167 pounds.
Jose Castelano Campo, 27, is a Hispanic man with black hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
In order for the FDLE to issue a Missing Child Alert, law enforcement must have “a well-founded belief, based on an active investigation, that the child is in danger of death or serious bodily injury.” Local law enforcement also must recommend the alert.
Anyone with information can call 911, the FDLE at 1-888-356-4774, or the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office at 386-943-8276.
