Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash May 24 on U.S. 1 in southern Martin County, the agency stated.
Troopers were called at 4:27 p.m. to the scene in the area of Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
U.S. 1 is closed temporarily in the area.
According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash involved a wrong-way driver.
The sheriff’s office stated a number of agencies are at the scene.
A request for additional information from the Florida Highway Patrol was not immediately returned.
