JACKSONVILLE — It’s championship day for the Constellation Furyk & Friends.
The final round of the PGA Tour Champions event at the Timuquana Country Club will begin off Nos. 1 and 10 at 8:40 a.m., with the lead group of Matt Gogel (12-under), Cameron Percy (9-under) and Monday qualifier Tommy Gainey (8-under) starting at 10:46 a.m.
Golf Channel will begin airing the final round at Noon.
Here’s a clue about the eventual winner: the previous four Furyk & Friends champions have been in the final threesome and held at least a share of the 36-hole lead. Phil Mickelson (2021), Steve Stricker (2022) and Brett Quigley (2023) had the solo lead and Rocco Mediate (2024) was tied with Bob Estes.
