Chop Robinson injury update, Dolphins defensive star exits vs. Bucs

The Miami Dolphins are down a key defensive player against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Hard Rock Stadium.

Second-year pass rusher Chop Robinson exited the game and entered concussion protocol late in the second quarter of the Dolphins’ game on Sunday, Dec. 28 in Week 17 of the NFL regular season. The Dolphins announced his status was questionable to return.

Robinson had one total tackle at the time of his injury.

The Dolphins led the Bucs 17-7 at the time of Robinson’s injury. Miami blocked a field goal with 27 seconds left until halftime.

Miami downgraded Robinson’s status to out early in the third quarter.

Chop Robinson stats for Dolphins

Robinson, 22, was the Dolphins’ first round pick out of Penn State in the 2024 NFL Draft.

He had 20 total tackles and 4.0 sacks for Miami entering Sunday’s contest against the Bucs.
