Blue-chip CB names FSU a top school

The FSU Seminoles already have five players committed in their 2027 recruiting class, but the work is far from done. They are looking to add numerous more targets to the group and on Thursday, they were named a top school for one of the best cornerbacks in the country.

Jailen Hill, a four-star corneback from Bellflower, California, named them one of his top 12 schools in his recruitment on social media. The Seminoles are battling the Alabama Crimson Tide, Indiana Hoosiers, USC Trojans, Texas Longhorns, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Tennessee Volunteers, Washington Huskies, and Texas A&M Aggies.

He is ranked as the No. 152 overall player and No. 15 cornerback in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 15 player from California.

FSU has some work to do if it wants to add Hill to its recruiting class, which already features one four-star cornerback in Makhi Williams. He has yet to visit campus after they extended him a scholarship offer in June.

He has had an extremely productive junior season for St. John Bosco High School, helping them go 9-2. Hill has just 11 tackles, but has recorded six interceptions and three pass breakups in 10 games.
