A free Veterans Resource Fair will be on Friday, Dec. 12, in Jacksonville to connect veterans and their families to benefits, services and support programs.
All veterans are welcome, and no pre-registration is required.
The fair will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Beaver Street Enterprise Center, 1225 W. Beaver St., hosted by state Rep. Kimberly Daniels and the Florida Department of Veterans Affairs.
“The purpose of this event is to remove barriers and give our veterans direct access to the help they deserve,” Daniels said. “By bringing these services together in one location, we are making sure real support is delivered in real time.”
The fair will feature:
Veterans should bring their DD-214 certificate of release or discharge from active duty and other service- or benefits-related documents.
The Beaver Street center is handicapped-accessible. Veterans who require specific accommodations should call Daniels’ office in advance at (904) 445-1234. Other veteran-support organizations that want to participate should also call the office.
