Eager for more Bachelor Nation content after a months-long hiatus? Good news! HGTV is providing us with some reprieve ahead of the upcoming “Bachelorette” season.
HGTV’s newest design competition series, “Bachelor Mansion Takeover,” dropped this week, on March 2, with its premiere episode showcasing a dozen “Bachelor” alumni to makeover at the iconic Bachelor Mansion.

The contestants were split into teams — men vs. women — and were tasked with making over bunk rooms within four days.
“These aren’t just makeovers,” host Jesse Palmer said ahead of the challenge. “You’re going to be solving real-life mansion problems. Storage, space, privacy…Just think back to your time here and what was missing.”
According to Palmer, the teams were judged based on design, problem-solving, execution, qualities of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and how “well you all bring your ideas together.” Here’s what to know about HGTV’s newest competition show and how to watch it.
Are any Floridians on ‘Bachelor Mansion Takeover’?
There are two Floridians on the cast of HGTV’s “Bachelor Mansion Takeover” this season: Tyler Cameron of Jupiter and Allyshia Gupta of Tampa.
Tyler was introduced to viewers during season 15 of “The Bachelorette,” as one of Hannah Brown’s potential suitors. At the time of filming, he was 26 years old and listed his occupation as a “general contractor.”
Despite not being chosen by Brown at the end, he quickly rose in Bachelor Nation’s rankings and has become one of the more popular alumni from the franchise. In his post-“Bachelorette” career, he has appeared in several shows (including his own Amazon Prime show in 2024), written a book, and is now in a long-term relationship.
As for Allyshia, viewers first saw her on Grant Ellis’s season of “The Bachelor.” She is an interior designer living in Tampa.
She was eliminated early in the season but got another chance at love on “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2025. She formed a connection with fellow Tampa resident Sean McLaughlin; however, the pair split shortly after filming ended.
Host Jesse Palmer also has some Florida ties; he played football in the late ’90s and early 2000s for the University of Florida under coach Steve Spurrier.
