The Jacksonville Jaguars released their first Week 10 injury report ahead of Sunday’s road game with the Houston Texans.
Several key starters, including Brian Thomas Jr., were listed as non-participants.
On Tuesday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Thomas Jr. is “dealing with a low-grade high ankle sprain.” However, Thomas Jr. still “has a chance to play this week.”
Liam Coen hasn’t provided any specific updates.
Also not participating were cornerback Jourdan Lewis (neck), tight end Hunter Long (hip/knee), and left guard Ezra Cleveland (knee/ankle).
Some good news is that linebacker Devin Lloyd (calf), tight end Quintin Morris (groin), and wide receiver Tim Patrick (groin), all of whom missed Sunday’s game, were full participants.
While Lloyd practiced all three days last week, this was the first time that he was a full participant since suffering the injury in Week 6.
On Monday, Liam Coen said that Lloyd was getting “a lot closer.” However, he also reiterated that the team won’t rush him back. They want to ensure that Lloyd is completely recovered from the injury.
Lastly, linebacker Dennis Gardeck (chest), defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton (back), linebacker Jack Kiser (quad), and wide receiver Dyami Brown (concussion) were all limited.
The Thursday practice statuses for each of these players could potentially give us a better idea of where things stand going into Sunday.
