The Tri-City Athletic League doesn’t offer easy nights.
Widely viewed as the toughest and most talented basketball league in San Joaquin County, the TCAL features teams capable of competing with anyone.

In fact, place most TCAL teams in another league and they would likely be fighting for a league title.
Even honorable mention players here could compete for first-team honors elsewhere, and many TCAL first-team selections would be MVP contenders in other leagues.
That level of competition forces players to bring their best every time they step on the floor.
Throughout the season, certain players continued to rise above the rest.
Here are the Tri-City Athletic League All-League selections for boys and girls basketball.
Note: St. Mary’s girls basketball is excluded because it did not play a full TCAL schedule. In addition, Modesto Christian, though outside San Joaquin County, is included on the boys side because it is the league’s only non-county team and finished first in the TCAL.
