San Joaquin County Parks Trunk O’ Treat brings early Halloween festivities to Micke Grove

San Joaquin County Parks will be holding its Trunk O’ Treat event at Micke Grove Regional Park this weekend.

The event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, at Micke Grove Regional Park, 11793 Micke Grove Road in Lodi. The park will close at 1 p.m. for the event. Micke Grove will reopen to the public at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, San Joaquin County Parks officials said in a Facebook post.

“Located in the Micke Grove Zoo parking lot, the Halloween event will feature decorated cars from over 50 different (businesses), agencies and organizations, along with kids crafts and games, pumpkin decorating, food trucks and plenty of candy!” San Joaquin County Parks website states.

The event is pre-registered only, with no tickets sold at the gate or the park office, the Visit Stockton website states. Registration is $10 per vehicle.

Registration will be closed once capacity is met. To register for the Trunk O’ Treat, visit sjparks.com.

“Candy donations are welcomed and can be dropped off weekdays 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the San Joaquin County Park Office (located inside Micke Grove Regional Park),” the San Joaquin County Parks website states.
