As the 2025 football season nears an end, our weekly picks are still going strong.
Nothing is on the line other than bragging rights between sports reporter Jose Quintero and freelance journalists Todd Hadler and Jason Reed.
But we’ve switched things up a bit, inviting a local favorite for high school football talk and highlights sharing on Instagram @HighDesert_FootballReport to be part of this season-long endeavor.
After the first round of the CIF-Southern Section playoffs in the High Desert, Reed sits atop the rankings with a 90-28 record, which is good for a two-game lead over Quintero and Hadler in the standings.
