In September, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival accomplished a feat it hadn’t since before the pandemic: it sold out both weekends just three days after passes were released.
This signaled something of a gradual return to the pre-pandemic era of the festival, when passes would regularly sell out within hours of their release — often before the lineup was even announced.

Festival promoter Goldenvoice announced the 2026 festival lineup on Sept. 15, 2025, which was two months earlier than the year before (the Coachella 2025 lineup was announced Nov. 20, 2024) and four months earlier than the year before that (the Coachella 2024 lineup was announced Jan. 16, 2024).
Ticket sales have lagged since the festival’s post-pandemic return in 2022, so many social media users have speculated that the promoter keeps moving up the drop date to drum up interest, but whatever the reasoning, it especially worked this year.
Coachella resale tickets
Looking for a way to see headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G and Justin Bieber in the desert this April? Coachella tickets are still available via resale channels, so here’s the best way to go about it.
The festival uses AXS as its official ticket resale platform, but you can easily access the portal through the festival’s website, coachella.com. On the homepage, click “Explore Waitlist & Resale W1” or “Explore Waitlist & Resale W2” depending which weekend you’re trying for.
As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, if you’re looking for Weekend 1 passes, AXS says General Admission Passes are only available via waitlist (which requires a $20 deposit), and also says that the GA 4-Pack option is completely sold out. However, if you want a GA Pass with Shuttle Access or a VIP Pass, there are official festival resale options available.
GA Pass with Shuttle Access verified resale prices range from $800 to $3,765 per person, and VIP Pass verified resale prices range from $1,407 to $4,778 per person.
As of 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, if you’re looking for Weekend 2 passes, the AXS page is much of the same story as above. However, there are verified resale passes available for those seeking basic General Admission passes for Weekend 2, unlike for Weekend 1, and those range from $620 to $3,765 per person.
When do Coachella wristbands ship?
Around now. Coachella’s website says wristband shipping typically “is anticipated to begin in approximately early to mid March” and “a tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is packed.”
The website adds that it “will take a minimum of four weeks to complete shipping for each weekend,” and that Weekend 1 shipping will start before Weekend 2 shipping.
The last day to place a domestic order and have it shipped is March 27 for Weekend 1 passes and April 3 for Weekend 2 passes. Domestic orders placed after these dates must be picked up at the offsite will call/box office.
Where is Coachella located?
Coachella returns to it same location this year: the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Coachella Weekend 1 dates
Coachella Weekend 1 is April 10-12.
Coachella Weekend 2 dates
Coachella Weekend 2 is April 17-19.
Is there a Coachella payment plan?
According to the festival’s website, there is a “Lineup On Sale Payment Plan.” You can pay $49 down at checkout and then divide the remaining balance over equal payments through February 2026. There is a $50 flat fee for the payment plan, the festival said.
Are there other website offering Coachella resale tickets?
Yes, definitely, but our official advice is to go through the verified festival resale option. It’s the only way to be 100% certain that you’re getting an authentic pass, and thus the best way to avoid potential heartbreak.
