Who was voted off 'Dancing with the stars'? Why Dedication Night surprised the stars

“Dancing with the Stars” brought out the emotion Tuesday, Oct. 14, as the stars dedicated their dances to someone important to them, and incorporated those people into their routine.

On Dedication Night, each star dedicated a dance. Robert Erwin, son of wildlife conservationist Steve Erwin, dedicated his dance to his mother, Kerri Erwin; and actor Danielle Fishel, dedicated her dance to former co-star on the series “Boy Meets World,” Bill Daniels.

The stars and their dancing pros also were asked to include their loved ones in their dancing routine — a first for the series.

The stars were scored out of 40 points for the episode, as guest judge and two-time DWTS winner Kym Johnson-Herjavec joined the panel.

In a surprise move by the judges, no one was eliminated, so 10 partners remain. The judges said they felt each star deserved to carry on. The scores and fan votes will roll over into next week’s episode, “Wicked Night.”

Episodes air weekly and at least one dancing partner will be packing their bags each week until the finale.
