It’s no secret that grocery prices have risen across the United States since 2020.
Families continue to struggle with higher prices across the board, including groceries, gas and utilities. To help readers locate the most affordable groceries for their household, The Sentinel is introducing a weekly “Grocery Guide” that compares the current prices of staple items at local stores.
Each story will compare name-brand and store-brand prices, if possible. For this week’s offering, we’re looking at milk. These prices are from May 5, as posted online.
Unless otherwise noted, prices are for one gallon of white milk.
