“Livingston In Photos,” a series shot by reporter Makayla Coffee, highlights the extra-ordinary happenings of your neighbors.
GENOA TWP. — There’s been yet another new addition to the brunch scene in Livingston County.
For this week’s Livingston in Photos, I visited Brunch Berry at 4144 E. Grand River Ave. in Genoa Township. When I arrived, staff members were tackling a busy lunch rush, packed with customers ordering everything from nutella crepes to chicken sandwiches.
Brunch Berry opened in mid-May. During my visit, almost every seat was filled.
The menu includes a bit of everything: omelets, benedict, crepes, toast, hash bowls, pancakes, waffles, salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, pitas and freshly squeezed orange juice — a particular fan favorite.
Other noteworthy dishes include Fruity Pebbles Pancakes, S’mores French Toast, Goat Cheese and Tomato Toast, and Smoked Salmon Benedict.
The family-run business is operated by husband-and-wife duo Mario and Katarina Berisaj, along with Nik and Viki Berisaj. The family has a long history of restaurant experience, including at Joseph’s Brunch House in Northville.
Brunch Berry is open daily 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Learn more at brunchberryhowell.com.
