CAMDEN — Hillsdale County has a new destination for cocktail enthusiasts and fans of vintage ambiance following the opening of The Den at Farmhouse, a modern speakeasy that nods to the intrigue and craftsmanship of the Prohibition Era.
The intimate venue at 111 S. Main St. in Camden is hidden behind red tufted doors inside Farmhouse Kitchen and Ale. The Den blends the mystique of a secret bar with the comfort of modern hospitality, with low-lit ambiance and a thoughtfully curated interior.

The venue specializes in handcrafted cocktails, rare spirits, curated wines and a menu of small bites.
“Our goal was to create a space that feels like a discovery — somewhere people can escape the ordinary and enjoy exceptional drinks in a warm, secluded environment,” said owners Scott and Sheila Brown. “We’re excited to share this experience with the community.”
Guests also have access to the full menu at Farmhouse Kitchen and Ale. Make a reservation (which is strongly encouraged) at farmhousekitchenandale.com or by calling 517‑368‑3663.
The Den opens at 4 p.m. Wednesdays-Saturdays.
