Spartans land commitment from All-American long snapper

Michigan State football has added a high-level specialist to its 2026 recruiting class.

Trey Serauskis of Frankfort, Ill. announced his commitment to Michigan State on Friday evening. Serauskis is an All-American long snapper, filling an opening on the Spartans’ roster after last year’s starter Jack Wills left via the transfer portal earlier this offseason.

Serauskis is listed as a three-star prospect, and ranked as the No. 11 long snapper in the 2026 class. He was selected to the Navy All-American Bowl this year as one of the top long snappers in the country.

Michigan State is one of a few schools that have reportedly offered Serauskis, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Toledo, Arkansas, Louisville and San Diego State.
