Petoskey girls basketball regional championship postponed to Thursday

GAYLORD ― The MHSAA Division 2 regional championship girls basketball game between Petoskey and Elk Rapids has been postponed to tomorrow due to severe winter weather in Northern Michigan.

The D2, Region 9 title game will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 12 at Gaylord High School between the Northmen (21-3, 10-2 Big North) and the Cardinals (21-4, 10-0 Central State Activities Association-Red). The winner will move on to the quarterfinals to face the winner of Portland (21-4, 12-0 Capital Area Activities Conference-White) vs. Flint Powers Catholic (21-3, 10-0 Saginaw Valley League South).
