MSU football reportedly trending for 3-star safety from New Jersey

A 2027 three-star defensive back prospect from the east coast has been crystal balled to end up as a Spartan.

Michigan State football picked up a 247Sports crystal ball prediction in their favor for three-star safety Ty’ire Clark of Jersey City, N.J. Spartans insider Corey Robinson submitted the crystal ball for Clark to Michigan State on Sunday, with a confidence rating of six.

Clark plays for St. Peter’s Prep, and has a recruiting rating of 85 in 247Sports’ recruiting system. He ranks as the No. 83 safety and No. 24 player from New Jersey in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He is also listed as the No. 899 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State is one of nearly 10 schools to offer Clark, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Boston College, Temple, Charlotte, Jacksonville State, UConn and Delaware State.

The Spartans are set to host Clark for an official visit in late May. With this latest crystal ball submitted in their favor, I wouldn’t be shocked if we see Clark committed to Michigan State either before that visit or shortly afterwards.
