A Michigan State football defensive back has declared for the NFL Draft.
Dontavius Nash officially declared for the NFL Draft on Sunday, making his announcement via a post on Instagram. Nash was out of eligibility per Emmett Matasovsky of Spartan Shadows, but this announcement shuts any door of petitioning for an extra year of eligibility at the collegiate level.
Nash played one year at Michigan State after joining the Spartans from East Carolina this past offseason via the transfer portal. He appeared in eight games this season at Michigan State, recording 14 tackles. He started his career at North Carolina, where he played two seasons before transferring to East Carolina for two seasons.
