Community character survey

A survey on community character is open for citizen input. According to the city’s website, the information collected in the survey will be used by the planning commission to revise the city’s zoning code.

Survey questions range from listing “What do you find attractive about your neighborhood?” to rating “Which type of development should have a higher level of standards related to their activities?”

You can complete the survey at surveymonkey.com/r/PetoskeyZoning.

Pennsylvania Park Master Plan Open House

There will be an open house for the public to discuss potential updates to the Pennsylvania Park Master Plan from 4-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 in the community room at city hall.

City officials have been gathering feedback on a number of parks in recent months. There was an open house in August for the Winter Sports Park.
