Yale tops Port Huron, moves to 2-0 in boys basketball action

PORT HURON — Here are the boys high school basketball results for Friday, Dec. 5, in the Blue Water Area.

Yale 45, Port Huron 32

Jackson Kohler scored a game-high 19 points for Yale (2-0). Tyler Debbs followed with 15 points. The Bulldogs host Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Greg Haskins totaled nine points for Port Huron (0-2). The Red Hawks welcome Macomb L’Anse Creuse North at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Croswell-Lexington 79, Marysville 61

Max Noll finished with 21 points to lead Croswell-Lexington (1-1). Cameron Saunders contributed 15 points. The Pioneers visit North Branch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Dae’Vion Brunhuber scored 20 points for Marysville (0-2). Cole Cooper chipped in 17 points. The Vikings head to Sterling Heights at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Kingston 53, Peck 41

Thomas West totaled 17 points to guide Peck (0-2). Cody Cairo followed with 13 points. The Pirates entertain Deckerville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12.

Richmond 50, Marine City 48

Gaige Towner finished with 20 points and seven rebounds to lead Richmond (1-1) to a win Thursday night. Jaxon Distelrath added 12 points, eight boards and eight assists. The Blue Devils visit Yale at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.

Johnny Hand scored a game-high 23 points for Marine City (1-1). The Mariners head to St. Clair at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 8.
