2023 Trek the Trestle

It’s Back!!  

With the end of summer approaching, the St. Clair County Parks and Recreation Commission is  hosting the annual Labor Day “Trek the Trestle” Walk on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. 

As part of the event, Participants cross the 640ft. Mill Creek trestle, the longest bridge of its kind  in the state of Michigan. The five-mile walking event will be held on Labor Day, September 4, at  9:00am. The walk will start at the Avoca Road Trailhead in Downtown Avoca (on M-136). 

It is always a thrill to Trek the Trestle!
