South Korea acting President Choi says to monitor financial markets around the clock

South Korea's parliament impeaches acting president Han, as Yoon goes on trial

SEOUL (Reuters) – South Korea’s acting President Choi Sang-mok said on Friday the government will make an all-out effort to stabilise the economy and will monitor financial markets around the clock to act if needed.

Choi, speaking at a meeting with the central bank chief and regulators, also said the government will continue to make efforts to boost stock valuations.
