Sheriff King says Undersheriff Spadafore has worked his way through the ranks of the Sheriff’s Office, beginning his careeer in 2001, after graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University.
He worked his way through the ranks, serving as Lieutenant in charge of the Drug Task Force and was promoted to Captain of the Road Patrol in November of 2020.
With the promotion of Spadafore to Undersheriff, Matt Pohl has been promoted to Captain of the department’s Road Patrol Division.
