With each passing day, the Michigan High School Athletic Association faces a more unsteady future.
On Friday, the Ohio High School Athletic Association announced it would be changing its football season from 10 games down to six games.
It was a move that was said to have left schools scrambling to adjust.

But you have to wonder how far away Michigan High Schools are from a similar fate.
On Friday, Lansing Area Public Schools announced the cancellation of all fall sports and extra curricular activities.
This will surely create shock waves throughout the community and throughout schools connected to the district.
That will all bring the MHSAA under even more pressure to make changes.
Exactly what that will entail is anyone’s guess. But it will start with teams having to continue to change course abruptly as we get closer and closer to an uncertain beginning of the school year.
That will surely put more pressure on administrators and coaches to adjust in the final moments.
