Marysville’s Bastianelli settles into pro career

By Joseph Hayes

Alison Bastianelli was a dominating volleyball player during her time in the Blue Water Area.

By the time she graduated from Marysville High School in 2015, she had forever left her mark on the area and was dominant enough to receive an athletic scholarship to play at the University of Illinois.

Bastianelli would also play well in the Big Ten Conference and help Illinois reach the Four Four her last year on campus.
