(Port Huron Township) A 51 year old Port Huron man died this morning, after being struck by a vehicle in Port Huron Township.
Deputies from the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 2800 block of Dove Road shortly after 7:00 a.m. When they arrived, they observed that the man had been walking westbound down the road, when he was struck by a GMC pickup driven by a 28 year old man from Port Huron, who was also heading westbound.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

Port Huron Township Fire and Rescue and Tri-Hospital EMS assisted at the scene of the crash.
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
