Take a look around for yourself.
In some place, there is no rain. In others, locusts are devouring the land and numerous plagues are among the people.
Nearly everywhere around the earth, a virus has ravished the countries and fear lies among the people.

Now consider what God told Solomon in 2 Chronicles 7:12-15:
“And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice. If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.”
During this time of seclusion when most are by themselves in fear, it has also been a time when there is a sense among some that people should really be gathered together seeking God — the only One with an answer for the problems we all face.
During this time where we have all spent time alone with entertainment, social media and ourselves; hopefully we have also spent some time seeking God.
Shouldn’t He be worth focusing on; worth living for, worth fighting for?
Yet there is also something we are all willing to rationalize. Just look at the year 2020. It appears to be the year everyone will attempt to make sense of something different.
But as everyone attempts to find their own meaning of everything taking place around them, how do we really understand and own up to what has taken place before our very own eyes.
We are watching our country and are statewide government make decisions that should be startling to us. Our statewide government has attempted to limit our interactions with one another in the places of their choosing that goes directly against God’s Word once again.

In this case, our own governor has broken laws established by our own forefathers.
Just look at the recent laws put in place that stopped us from attending places of worship.
It was stated by statewide governments that in many states Churches were not essential, yet liquor stores and restaurants are.
Being able to have an abortion during the past couple of months when the economies of the world were brought to a close was considered essential by our governor, but falling to the ground on our knees at Church and seeking God for the solutions to stop the spread of the disease was not?
That is absurd for a country that was founded upon the respect that its citizens would have the ability to worship under God.
In the first amendment of the United States constitution, it reads Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion. In the 14th amendment, it reads the same thing regarding the states.
In the state of Michigan we have witnessed stores, restaurants and dispensaries left open and marked essential by our governor, but Churches forcibly closed.
Hundreds of people can shop big market stores like Walmart, but people can’t meet at Church to seek God for solutions to the problems we all face?
That shows us all how we have changed our focus over time away from God. The Bible says God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, and yet some people haven’t been outside in two months because of spirits of fear that have the world up in arms.
Meanwhile, these are opportunities all around us for the Church to rise up in faith and take the Gospel to the ends of the earth like we were commanded to by God. He is still worthy of all the glory, honor and praise, today and forevermore.
If Jesus was alive today, during his 33 years on the earth, would he be in his house, afraid to go outside?
If he saw you, wouldn’t he ask where is your faith in God?
And if you haven’t received Jesus Christ yet or want to rededicate your life to Him as your Lord and Savior, why not let today be the day you changed your life. Believe and say out loud: Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe your Son Jesus was sent to earth to die for me on the cross and that he rose from the dead. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Jesus take my life and use it for your glory. I choose to extend forgiveness to anyone who has sinned against me. Welcome to God’s family! Your spirit is born again!
