It’s Mother’s Day.
And only God knows, it can’t be easy being a mother that lives a life pleasing to God.
The world seems to be full of things that oppose God and everything He holds dear. That starts with the very people made in His image, and sent to the earth.

So on days like today, when we pause and reflect, it can only really mean a few things.
It’s a time to reflect on the women who have overcome the world while meaning so much to all of us. Women who have helped instill in us the character that we continue to develop as adults.
It can’t be easy being a mother after God’s own heart in today’s world.
There have been times when I thought I was overwhelmed with something and I would hear my wife with her hands full with our children; still operating in joy and patience.
During these moments I immediately felt all of the pressure on me lift, as it would seem as if her peace would be transferred onto me.
There were other times when I would see God working through her at the same moment I would be struggling, and I would be sent a reminder that she had even more on her plate.
Once more, her inner drive would compel me to push higher and because of her inner strength, I would often find the courage to continue.
Only God knows how we often affect another by our simple actions, and our choice to just obey Him. There are choices we make on a daily basis that we will one day find out He was behind.

There are women all around us that exhibit grace, courage and faith that they have embraced from the Holy Spirit.
They are people who have made a tangible difference in the world and continue to on a daily basis.
I still think of everything I learned from my mother and grandmother and how they constantly changed the world around them.
They would find someone to Bless, or help or encourage. They spent their lives this way and influenced people to live their lives in a similar way while touching the world for Jesus Christ in a better way.
They spent today in Heaven with God.
How did you spend Mother’s Day? Will you spend your time making a difference on the world around you? Will you touch those who have no one to bring them hope or encouragement?
Who knows how God will use you to make a difference in the life of someone else. Today could very well be the starting point to the rest of your life. I can personally say that He has used many special women to touch my life.
And if you haven’t received Jesus Christ yet or want to rededicate your life to Him as your Lord and Savior, believe and say out loud:
Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe your Son Jesus was sent to earth to die for me on the cross and that he rose from the dead. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Jesus take my life and use it for your glory. I choose to extend forgiveness to anyone who has sinned against me. Welcome to God’s family! Your spirit is born again!
