Living God’s Best: Are you doing your assignment for Jesus? with Tanja Lunney

By Joseph Hayes

Imagine the scene: You are standing in front of the Great I Am, with His Son King Jesus and only you know the truth.

He assigned everyone to live their lives for Him, taking His Gospel to the ends of the earth with a purpose until He comes.

That was the final edict from Jesus for all of His disciples that would help determine their place in His Kingdom and also when He would return to the earth.

Have you been doing what you were called to do and also assigned to do by God?

Or did the world, mankind and it’s governments have the final say?

It’s funny how it all seems to work out.

Throughout His whole message, Jesus seemed to be in tune with Father God, having an immense understanding of His eternal purpose and His Word.

All the while, the Bible shows us that when the devil personally tested Jesus and the world tried to tempt him, they also knew what God had previously said.

Meanwhile, do you know what’s expected of you? I won’t have a say in how you are judged when you stand before God. But you will.

God is the Master Creator and has given each of us skills and abilities to identify with Him and represent Him while we live our lives.

But we often spend our time focusing on pleasing each other instead of pleasing Him. You can see this in how our societies our built.

The world is clearly being used by the devil. If God says one thing, the devil will attempt to establish the opposite and instruct people to do the same.

In the past, if the concentration on obeying God and taking the Gospel to the ends of the world was using airplanes and developing web pages, as Christians, we felt we were making strides.

But this recent pandemic has taught us something. In one swift, fear based motion, satan attempted to shut down Churches worldwide and slow God in one move.

People can now get an abortion during this time while societies are shut down, but can not go to Church.

It’s a problem within your society when it refuses to humble itself before God and seek Him for the solutions. It’s also not hard to understand that the curse of disobedience on countries starts spiritually and the things taking place within our country are often because of disobedience to God.

As we continue to disobey God, we won’t have His protection, when He is the One who guarantees you won’t have to fear evil.

Do we have the humility and simple understanding to know that we need God? He is the source of any success in our lives. We wouldn’t have anything good without God and it’s time we humble ourselves and understand what has really made America great in the earth.

It’s not stopping the move of the Gospel, but extending its outreach.

And if you haven’t received Jesus Christ yet or want to rededicate your life to Him as your Lord and Savior, believe and say out loud: Heavenly Father, I come to you in Jesus’ name. Please forgive me of my sins. I believe your Son Jesus was sent to earth to die for me on the cross and that he rose from the dead. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Jesus take my life and use it for your glory. I choose to extend forgiveness to anyone who has sinned against me. Welcome to God’s family! Your spirit is born again!

Choose to spend time learning more about Jesus in the Bible. You can study Him in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Seek God on what local church you should attend to learn more about Him and choose to put your faith on display by being baptized. As you continue learning about God, be His ambassador and continue sharing what you have learned with everyone. Where you go, the Lord goes. So choose to represent Him today.
