Recipe of The Day – Blackberry Mush

  • 1 quart blackberries
  • 1 pint water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Directions

  1. Stew the blackberries in water until well done, add sugar to taste, thicken with cornstarch dissolved in a little cold water.
  2. Boil a few minutes after adding cornstarch.
  3. When cool, flavor with vanilla.
  4. To be eaten cold with cream.
