A Harry Potter-inspired event is swooping into Port Huron on Saturday, September 29. Groups of 10 or more can now save $5 off each ticket when they sign up together before September 1.
The Happy Horcrux Hunt and Bar Crawl will begin with an hour at Lakehenge, Port Huron’s very own Wizarding School, and continue with a horcrux scavenger hunt through Downtown Port Huron.
At Lakehenge enrollees will:
-be sorted into their house
-have a wand choose them
(Attendees are able to keep the wands)
-play a team game of wizard trivia
-enjoy a butterbeer and cash bar
(Non-alcoholic drinks also available)
-explore wizarding shops
-win prizes for best costume
-and much more.
Many local businesses are collaborating with the festivities. Attendees can barhop, shop and enjoy a bite to eat all while hunting for horcruxes in Downtown Port Huron businesses.
The group rate ends September 1. The special can be redeemed at Palmer Park, through email to email@example.com or by fax to 810-984-0192. Attendees must complete their own registration form found onporthuronrec.com/happyhorcrux. Additional information can be provided by calling 810-984-9760.
Tickets without the group rate can be purchased at www.porthuronrec.com/happyhorcrux or at the Port Huron Parks and Recreation Department located at 2829 Armour Street, Port Huron, MI. Attendees must be 18 years or older to participate. Early registration is encouraged to reserve a time slot as space is limited. Tickets are $40 per person for residents of Burtchville, Clyde, Fort Gratiot, Port Huron Township and the City of Port Huron. Non-resident ticket price is $55 per person.
