Former PHN athlete Mackenzie Shell reaching new levels

Mackenzie Shell is still reaching new heights.

When Shell was a pole vaulter in the Blue Water Area, she was known for being an all-time great athlete.

By the time she left Port Huron Northern High School, Shell would be in the record books as the greatest pole vaulter in school history and likely unmatched throughout the area.

Not much has changed since then as she has continued her upward march.

She has picked up even more expertise in the time since during her college days as a Division 1 athlete at the University of Oklahoma.

After graduating, she is now thinking even bigger.

In addition to becoming an artist, she is also becoming a professional runner. Shell is training for a career down in Arkansas and is quickly progressing toward a bright future.
