Patriotic music on the Fourth of July. In Bedford, it was the Community Band that performed an array of patriotic songs at the Thornton Park Pavilion for a large crowd on the afternoon of July 4.
The Bedford Community Band’s next performance will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, in the Otis Park Band Shell.
The community band has more than 40 musicians including students from area schools. New members are welcome. The group has rehearsals on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Bedford North Lawrence band room.
