“Hope Blooms” Event Benefiting Hunter Hospitality House Rescheduled
Hunter Hospitality House will be holding Hope Blooms, their eighth annual fundraising dinner, on Wednesday, August 26 at the beautiful Blue Water Convention Center. The evening banquet was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 18. In addition to the date change and the day of the week, the event will now be held, the time of the event has shifted to 6-8 pm, with an early entry time of 5 pm.
Those attending will enjoy a delicious dinner with dessert, the uplifting music of Jimmy DeHeno and Still Running, a huge 50/50 drawing, great door prizes, large raffle items, an unbelievable silent auction (including tickets for Disney World), centerpiece sales, scrumptious cupcakes, and more.

Previous ticket purchases are good for the new date. “If you are unable to attend, we urge you to find someone else who can use the tickets,” said Tracy Willard, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the organization.
Proceeds from this event allow Hunter Hospitality House to continue providing free lodging and abundant amenities in two beautiful bed-and-breakfast-style homes in Port Huron, located directly across from both hospitals in town. The organization is named in memory Hunter Eldon Willard, the late son of Co-Founders Jeff and Tracy Willard. Qualified guests include families of hospitalized patients, those undergoing daily outpatient treatment, and people needing a place to stay the night before a surgery. Loved ones of patients in other medical facilities in the area, such as the Blue Water Hospice Home and Marwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, are also welcome at Hunter Hospitality House when vacancies allow.
A limited amount of tickets for Hope Blooms are still available and can be purchased online at www.hunterhospitalityhouse.com
