The Vermontville Maple Syrup Festival is the granddaddy of the maple syrup festivals in Michigan. As you drive through this quaint small town located between Lansing and Grand Rapids, you may see pails hanging from trees catching the flowing sweet sap. In addition to sampling delicious maple syrup pancakes, candy, and other maple-enriched foods and goodies, there is a carnival, petting zoo, parades, demonstrations, flea markets and much more.
