Imagine two semi trucks, each pulling a loaded 60-ton trailer, lining up for a 700-foot uphill drag race. That in a nutshell is what the Great Lakes Big Rig Challenge is all about. Big Rig Racing has been in Québec, Canada for over three decades, but is relatively new to the United States. Friday has practice runs & a big rig parade. Saturday racing 11am – 6pm and fireworks. Racing wraps up on Sunday and cash awards are distributed to winners. A midway, vendors, live entertainment and a kid’s zone are also a part of the weekend.
