Thought you had to go to Alaska to see sled dog races? Wrong! You only have to travel to Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula to watch amazing dogs and their owners cover 150 miles in three days. If three days in the cold is too much for you, there is another shorter race that is completed in one day. This event is amazing and should be part of your winter Michigan adventure.
