Just 20 minutes northwest of Traverse City lies the small town of Cedar. Its population swells for the annual Cedar Polka Fest which celebrates the town’s rich Polish history. You can dance to the best polka bands in America, indulge at food vendors offering Polish food and more, art fair, car show, parade, games for the kids, merchandise vendors, and non-stop fun. This is one of very few Polka Festivals left in the country. Hours vary each day.
