AuSable River Canoe Marathon – Grayling to Oscoda

Save the dates of The AuSable River Canoe Marathon. World-wide elite paddlers (as well as locals), battle portages, darkness, hunger and fatigue as they paddle the challenging 120-mile course. At 9:00 pm in Grayling, the paddlers carry their canoes four blocks to the River to begin with an exciting LeMans-style start. View the start at the site of the former Ray’s Canoe Livery located on the I-75 Business Loop. Participate in the spectator sport of following the paddlers downriver through the night, catching them as they paddle under bridges and portage several dams.
